In each issue of FieldNotes, we bring to light a product, company, or organization we believe in. In the Fall 2013 we featured artist Raina Gentry.
As many of you know, I dabble in art. I love to make paper and handcrafted books, called artists books, where the kind of binding and papers often reflect what's inside. I also appreciate all kinds of fine arts. The work to the left titled "Three Sisters" done by an artist from Colorado, Raina Gentry, really captures me.
Paul & I were visiting Jerome, Arizona a few years back en route to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon & happened upon an artist's collective. Raina happened to be in that day and we bought one of her paintings shown here to the right (called "Hummingbird II") which hangs in our home and brings me much pleasure.
